About the program

In Australia, the 12-month Accelerate program is split into three blocks; providing graduates 3 x four-month blocks of hands-on work experience in different focus areas of Operational, Technical, Business and Projects. This will be based in one of our three business units; Humes, Aggregates or Concrete, with locations in NSW, QLD, VIC, WA or SA.

The Holcim Graduate Development Program is an opportunity to experience and learn about the Holcim Australia business within your allocated business unit.  The program provides the development of personal, professional, technical and divisional-specific skills required as an operational employee and future leader within Holcim.

The key aim of the program is to create operational leaders of the future.

Commencing in February 2024, Our 12-month program consists of immersing graduates into one business unit and tailoring a development plan to prepare graduates for a successful career with Holcim

Moving across various sites, you will experience different places, people and functions in real jobs working on real sites. The program will see you work across multiple locations and may require you to travel to some of our regional sites.

Thisy Fabris is a Pre-Contracts Coordinator in the major projects team, based in Queensland. She completed the Holcim Australia Graduate Program in 2020 to now be part of a global group of 60,000 passionate, pioneering and high-performing people. To be eligible for our 2024 Graduate Program, you'll need to:

  • Be an Australian/New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
  • Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the last 3 years of program start date (e.g;  2021, 2022 or 2023)
  • Be able to commence full time employment commencing February 2024
  • Have studied a degree ideally in, but not limited to:  Engineering, Science, Commerce, Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Be open and willing to travel to our regional sites for some of your rotations.
  • Take part in Pre Employment Checks including a Medical and a National Police Check
