Fraudulent Ordering Alert

Holcim Australia wish to advise of fraud scams that are targeting the organisation and various suppliers. We have become aware of fraudulent orders for products and services that appear to come from Holcim Australia but are in fact fraudulent.

The email requesting a quotation or attaching a purchase order will often appear to be from a member at Holcim Australia’s procurement department. It appears the scam operates through the ordering of goods which are delivered to an address not associated with Holcim Australia and the supplier does not receive payment for the goods.

Holcim Australia encourages all suppliers who receive a request for quotation and/or purchase order to check the email address closely and if the email domain is not from @holcim.com, the email may be fraudulent.

If you receive a request for a large value order or are unsure about any order you receive, please forward a copy to hanz-webmaster@holcim.com and we will contact you for validation.

If you suspect fraud in any way please also contact your local law enforcement agency.

Holcim Australia greatly appreciates your cooperation in reporting instances of suspected fraud and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this fraudulent activity may cause.
