This six-month virtual program brings together emerging leaders from across the globe for an international leadership experience.

Participants build business capability, broaden their exposure to senior leadership, strengthen their global networks and develop the confidence to lead. The program draws on learning from renowned international training providers and gives early-career talent the opportunity to grow in a truly global environment.

Holcim’s 12-month Graduate Development Program is hands-on, practical and purpose-driven.

Designed to support the next generation of operational leaders, the program gives graduates the opportunity to rotate through different parts of the business, contribute to real projects and gain experience across a wide range of operations. Alongside this practical exposure, participants follow a structured development pathway that supports both personal and professional growth.

We provide access to a broad and continually updated range of online learning resources, giving employees the flexibility to learn when and where it suits them.

Covering topics such as health and safety, leadership, professional development and business operations, the platform makes it easy to explore relevant content and keep developing over time. Key features include personalised recommendations, self-selected learning playlists and books, audiobooks, videos, and courses.

At Holcim, we encourage our people to take an active role in shaping their career development.

As part of the performance review process, employees are supported to discuss their career aspirations with their manager and identify the development they need to progress — whether that involves formal learning, new experiences or stretch opportunities through projects and responsibilities.

We also offer study assistance for eligible professional qualifications, including Diploma, Degree, Graduate Diploma and Masters programs.

Quarry Manager Development Program

This program is designed to build the capability of current and future quarry managers and operational leaders across our aggregates business.

Participants develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required to lead safe, efficient and high-performing operations. Those who successfully complete the program receive a nationally recognised qualification:

  • Diploma of Surface Operations Management (RII50115)
  • Advanced Diploma of Extractive Industries Management (RII60215)

Designed for leaders within Holcim’s concrete division, this program builds the skills needed to oversee multiple production sites with confidence.

The focus is on operational efficiency, safety, quality and leadership, helping participants strengthen their capability in team management, process improvement and strategic decision-making to support high-performance concrete operations.
