New Oaklands Junction Concrete Plant Opens to Serve Melbourne’s Growing North
Holcim’s new concrete plant in Oaklands Junction, just north of Melbourne Airport is now officially open. Located near key arterial roads in Melbourne’s fast-growing northern corridor, the state-of-the-art facility is purpose-built with safety, quality, and sustainability at its core.

As Melbourne’s northern region continues to grow—fuelled by new housing developments, commercial expansion, and major infrastructure investments—builders, developers, and contractors in the area now have greater access to reliable, high-quality concrete to meet the demands of their projects, both large and small. The new Holcim plant will supply concrete for local construction needs and high-profile infrastructure such as the North East Link, one of Victoria’s largest and most transformative transport projects.
The Oaklands Junction plant supplies the ECOPact range of low-carbon concrete. ECOPact provides developers, specifiers, builders, and contractors with a low-carbon product specific to their project’s performance and sustainability requirements. In the coming weeks, the Geostone range of decorative concrete products ideal for residential, commercial, and landscape applications will also be available.
