Holcim Australia Releases New Reconciliation Action Plan
Holcim Australia has released a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) that outlines the next phase of its commitment to supporting reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through practical action and long-term partnership.
Formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, the new Innovate RAP covers the period from July 2025 to July 2027. It builds on the foundations of Holcim’s Reflect RAP that was launched in 2022, and focuses on strengthening relationships, deepening employee engagement, and taking measurable steps to empower First Nations communities.

“This next chapter is about action—embedding reconciliation into our systems, setting clear goals, and holding ourselves accountable for the outcomes. This work is fundamental to our identity and how we operate.”
The Innovate RAP incorporates key learnings from the Reflect RAP, including the importance of cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, Sales, People & Culture, and Property. With more than 200 sites nationally, the plan is designed to be both centrally enabled and locally flexible—ensuring sites can contribute meaningfully to reconciliation actions. It also introduces clearer KPIs, expanded cultural learning, and strengthened Indigenous procurement practices.

“Commencing an Innovate RAP is a crucial and rewarding period in an organisation’s reconciliation journey. It is a time to build strong foundations and relationships, ensuring sustainable, thoughtful, and impactful RAP outcomes into the future.”
RAPs are built around the core pillars of relationships, respect, and opportunities. They deliver tangible and substantive benefits for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples—increasing economic equity and supporting First Nations self-determination. Holcim is proud to be part of a national network of organisations committed to turning goodwill into action.
