Holcim operates two adjoining sand quarries on McDonalds Track in Lang Lang, South Gippsland. Operating since the 1950s and 1980s, the sites supply high-quality sand for concrete used in essential infrastructure and construction across Victoria. All material from Work Authority 423 is transported via an internal haul road to Work Authority 2 for processing and distribution.

Mt Shamrock Quarry produces high quality construction materials such as rail ballast, aggregates (for concrete and asphalt) and road bases that are essential for the construction of homes, roads, railways, bridges, marinas, hospitals, schools, shopping centres, and other infrastructure within our communities.
