One piece shafts

To complete the range of precast shafts, Humes also offer a range of standard one piece caisson units suitable for fast and simple construction of small diameter shafts. They bolt together vertically, complete with seals, to form a finished shaft lining. Special designs are also available.

One piece caisson shafts are available in standard 3m and 3.6m (internal) diameters of 1m to 2.4m depths. Shafts have a steel cutting edge and are available with PE or PVC linings. Precast concrete roof slab options are also available.
