Concrete pipes

Large diameter reinforced concrete pipes (2,500-3,500mm ID) are an ideal solution for escape tunnels where heavy loads will be imposed.

Concrete pipes - jacking

Humes' fixed steel collar jacking pipes are ideally suited for use with modern, closed-faced micro-tunnelling equipment. They provide a flexible and watertight joint, wide jacking faces and a secure steel collar. These features are essential for longer jacking drives and installations in unstable ground conditions. Humes' custom design jacking pipes to suit a wide range of applications and installation methods. All standard Humes jacking pipes are provided in Class 4.

S-series jacking pipes - a custom designed jacking pipe which provides a pipe with high axial load transfer capacity and a flexible joint watertight joint. This range is ideal for culverts and sleeve pipe applications. Available in 300mm to 700mm diameters in 2.4m lengths.

J-series jacking pipes - this range of pipes provide high axial load transfer capacity and a flexible water tight joint including the interjack pipes. This is an ideal jacking pipe for culvert, sleeve pipe and jacked low pressure pipeline applications. Available in 800mm to 2,100mm diameters in 2.4m and 3m lengths.

Humes also offer butt joint jacking pipes - a cost effective solution for typical short length applications where only limited flexibility is required and a soil or watertight joint is not necessary. Available in 300mm to 3,000mm diameters in 2.4m lengths.
