Lifting spirits in lockdown

Victoria’s fourth COVID lockdown was a difficult reminder that the threat of the virus continues in our community. While the purpose of the ‘circuit breaker’ was to stop the increasing infection numbers, it came after a challenging 15 months for our Victorian colleagues.

To boost the morale of Holcim employees based in Victoria, and support local business doing it tough through the lockdown, Holcim purchased a number of hampers through local initiative, Click for Vic, and gave them away via a ballot draw.

With many Victorian businesses feeling the financial strain as a result of the lockdown, Click for Vic showcases and promotes local Victorian producers, makers and products, and encourages support for local businesses.

On Tuesday, 9 June the lucky winners were announced and hampers were sent to their homes and workplaces.

Holcim CEO, George Agriogiannis said, “This is one small way to provide some recognition and appreciation to OUR team for their ongoing commitment during this difficult period. It is also a way for us to support businesses in Victoria, who once again are doing it tough during this lockdown.”

Congratulations to all our Victorian winners.
